Just about all top executives are open to high-quality business advice from consultants. Make sure The Fox understands how your meeting their boss helps them. What can you offer?

If you're invited in, earn credibility by framing hard to solve business problems and showing how other clients have solved them. Talk about the wider issues their business faces if these problems aren’t solved. That’s something worth thinking about too.

Then pitch outcomes, not your consultancy process.
