At the start of a new year we reflect and make resolutions.
You know the kind of thing. Drink less booze and more water; join a gym and exercise regularly; eat more fresh vegetables and less Tesco chicken-tikka.

Most are self-centric. So, how about some other-centric ones too?

The Referability Habits(TM) - from Dan Sullivan's coaching program for entrepreneurs - are a good place to start. Especially if you want to nurture client relationships.

  1. Show up on time.
  2. Do what you say you will.
  3. Finish what you start.
  4. Say please and thank you.

They are simple, baseline courtesies which demonstrate respect, reliability, commitment, and good manners.
