LinkedIn posts like buzzword bingo…
Meh, or what?

People trying to hard.
Not writing like they speak.

Corporate words.
AI words.
All safe.
All beige.

I’ve done it too.
Bang something out.
Then rewrite in ‘posh’ words.
Taking out the passion and edge.

But it didn’t sound like me.

Listen.

I don’t need perfect sentences.
I don’t like buzzwords.
I don't want posh.

I just want you.

Here’s the difference:
“The client unlocked synergistic pathways to close production gaps and mitigate leadership risk.”

Switched off?

WTF does it mean?

I was too. But ...

“The factory was three weeks behind and the manager thought he’d get fired.
We coached his team. Now they’re on target for the first time in two years.”

That I get.
That I’ll remember.
Then I'll want to hear more.

Write like you - rough edges and all.

What's really going on

Think Different

I love it when there's a seemingly Unreasonable Agenda. The Apple Think Different campaign epitomised this. Just look at the change makers: Albert Einstein: Questioned absolute space-time. Bob Dylan: Reimagined song meanings poetically. Martin Luther King Jr.: Envisioned equality beyond segregation. Richard Branson: Ignored business conventions fearlessly.
