Are consultants slackers?

Are consultants slackers?

I know consultants work hard staying on top of their subject matter expertise.

I know they have thinking tendencies toward analysis, synthesis and systems.

But how hard do they work at the social cognition aspects of their job.

Developing excellence in these skills:
↳ Listening.
↳ Questions.
↳ Influence.

All essential for consultation.

The best consultants I know work on mastery of these three things.
You can see, hear, and sense it in their interactions.

Where does that leave you?

I work with #relentless achievers who want more precision and conviction in their work. If that's you lets talk.

What's really going on

“ … all of us hold on tightly to many things we don’t really have.” This line from Patrick Rhone’s book - This Could Help - got me thinking about our attitudes toward pipelines, relationships, and services.

Think Different

I love it when there's a seemingly Unreasonable Agenda. The Apple Think Different campaign epitomised this. Just look at the change makers: Albert Einstein: Questioned absolute space-time. Bob Dylan: Reimagined song meanings poetically. Martin Luther King Jr.: Envisioned equality beyond segregation. Richard Branson: Ignored business conventions fearlessly.
