Struggling to engage at CXO level?

Here’s how to get it right ...

Meeting with CXOs is high-stakes.
You know, nail it, or fail - big time.

Things to consider:

1️⃣ Lead with impact, not methodology.
↳ CXOs care about outcomes, not process.

2️⃣ Research like a detective.
↳ Know their pressures, priorities, and prouds.

3️⃣ Speak their language
↳ Strategic - not operational.

4️⃣ Bring issues, with solutions.
↳ Deliver clarity and insight.

5️⃣ Value their time fiercely.
↳ Be concise and make every second count.

6️⃣ Offer a point-of-view that makes them think.
↳ Don’t sound like everyone else.

7️⃣ Misread the room at your peril.
↳ Adapt yourself, match their tone and style.

Dealing with CXOs takes relevance and confidence.

Who else do you know who needs to read this?

Think Different

I love it when there's a seemingly Unreasonable Agenda. The Apple Think Different campaign epitomised this. Just look at the change makers: Albert Einstein: Questioned absolute space-time. Bob Dylan: Reimagined song meanings poetically. Martin Luther King Jr.: Envisioned equality beyond segregation. Richard Branson: Ignored business conventions fearlessly.
