Balancing learnt experiences and independent thinking.

Strike a careful balance between offering learnt experiences and encouraging independent thinking.

Otherwise we end up with people who:
↳ looking upward for answers
↳ won’t trust their own judgment
↳ fear criticism so don’t voice opinions

I prefer to see people’s think for themselves:
↳ develop the confidence to navigate issues
↳ question and challenge authority
↳ speak their truth on their terms

Wisdom isn’t just about giving answers - it’s about helping people discover their own.

What's really going on

“ … all of us hold on tightly to many things we don’t really have.” This line from Patrick Rhone’s book - This Could Help - got me thinking about our attitudes toward pipelines, relationships, and services.

Think Different

I love it when there's a seemingly Unreasonable Agenda. The Apple Think Different campaign epitomised this. Just look at the change makers: Albert Einstein: Questioned absolute space-time. Bob Dylan: Reimagined song meanings poetically. Martin Luther King Jr.: Envisioned equality beyond segregation. Richard Branson: Ignored business conventions fearlessly.
