Some consultant's careers get stuck,

because they focus too much on their job role,

and not enough on their client's business issues.

IT consultants are guilty of this when they lead with a technology expertise …

I'm an < SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Azure AWS, etc > consultant.

Other consultants suffer the same fate when they identify with a specific discipline ...

I'm a < Change Management, Innovation, Executive Coaching, Strategic Marketing, etc > consultant.

Rather of this job role approach, top consultants relate their work to a client's business problem and desired results.

And that's how they build influential relationships and win the most exciting projects.

What do you think?"

Think Different

I love it when there's a seemingly Unreasonable Agenda. The Apple Think Different campaign epitomised this. Just look at the change makers: Albert Einstein: Questioned absolute space-time. Bob Dylan: Reimagined song meanings poetically. Martin Luther King Jr.: Envisioned equality beyond segregation. Richard Branson: Ignored business conventions fearlessly.
